Hello my name is Dalton. I am from Shepherdsville Elementary in Kentucky. In our country, we do not have a king or a queen. We have a president. We just had our presidential election and we re-elected our curret president (Barak Obama) for four more years. I think it would be cool to have a king or queen!

ReplyDeleteThe ways that we communicate are, texting from phones, emailing off of computers, calling off phones. How do you communicate? We have many “Apple” products that we can communicate with. Some of them are Ipads.Iphones, IPods, and MacBook Pro.Do you have any electronics that are touch screen? We can also communicate through certain websites like our library program “Destiny”.

ReplyDeleteIn our city we have malls. In the malls there are clothes stores. There are food courts and there are shoe stores in the mall. We also have grocery stores. In grocery stores there is food, clothes and toys.

Yes we do read Roald Dahl book, we have quite a few of his books that everyone loves to borrow and read.
We definitely don't have any castles but there are some big buildings in our cities. We don't actually live in a city, we are a small country town about an hour and a half from our states capital city, Melbourne.
We have lots of special days throughout the year, but we don't have the Children in need day. We have Red Nose Day, Daffodil Day and Jeans for Genes Day just to name a few.

yes school is the best in our country well thats what we think and we have 20 people in our class but added up in the hole school we have about 110 people we also have a program called kids matter we have about ten groups and every kid is in a group i am in(Emma) sewing than i am in (Micheal) model cars.
we communicate by talking we speak english.

ReplyDeleteNo we do not live in a city, we live in a country town.
Our school is in Goulburn street.
We have lots of animals, Australian animals are koalas, kangaroos, emus, goannas, echidnas and wombats. We have pets like dogs, cats, fish, birds and rabbits. Other animals we have are snakes, horses, sheep, cows, pigs, chickens, ducks...we could name a lot more too.
Hope you have a better idea of where we come from.

ReplyDeleteYou asked what kinds of stores we have. Here are some, Walmart, Kroger, and Best Buy. We also have many malls. Most malls are filled with clothing, but at winter time there are lots of ornament stores. There are also food courts in malls. Food courts have many different restaurants in them. Some other stores are Justice, Claire’s, Spencer’s, Kohl’s, and Nike.

We have the same queen as you, but we also have a Governor General who represents her here. Our Governor General is called Sir Jerry Mateparae.
